About Us
Nia Lloyd Lumley
Legal Practice Director
Nia then began her legal career in 1998 in a law firm in North West Wales and, after practising for a number of years in Wales, she moved to Mandurah in 2012.
From the mountains of North Wales to the beautiful sandy shores of Mandurah – Nia loves living in Mandurah. She believes that there are not many places in the world you can see dolphins on your way to work (which is really magical), enjoy a 15 minute (if that) commute to the office, where 6 cars in a row is considered to be heavy traffic and have pretty much everything you need at your doorstep. Nia says Mandurah is just such a lovely place to live and she feels blessed to be in such wonderful surroundings and truly enjoys what the area has to offer.
Since her move to Mandurah, Nia has made and continues to enjoy wonderful friendships with people from many countries and cultures, all of whom are very important to her.
Nia is fluent in Welsh and English.
How Nia Can Help You
Nia has gained and developed extensive skills and experience through practicing law in 2 legal jurisdictions:
- Western Australia; and
- England and Wales.
That experience particularly in family law and wills and estate planning matters makes her an obvious choice of lawyer for you. Known for her sensitive and pragmatic approach, Nia will gain a quick understanding of your legal needs and circumstances.
Nia, being a person of integrity, has strong moral and ethical principles and is well accustomed to dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Nia is a forward thinker, tactful, and committed to resolving disputes in a constructive way.
- Wills and estate planning
Nia will advise you on both simple and complex matters – focusing on your estate planning needs and structures. She will also prepare an Enduring Power of Attorney and Enduring Power of Guardianship for you. - Probate
Nia will advise and assist you in relation to preparing Probate or Letters of Administration applications to the Supreme Court of Western Australia. - Family Law matters
Nia will advise you on property and parenting matters. Nia is a trained collaborative lawyer and so she will explore with you alternative approaches to resolving your individual situation. Such approaches would include mediation and round table conferences, which are often less expensive and less stressful than arguing about your family affairs at Court. Nia will focus on tackling the problem and not “the blame”.
